Terre des hommes – child relief: Delegation in Kosovo

Terre des hommes – child relief, Delegation in Kosovo, seeks to recruit an Advocacy Officer in the frame of its projects to promote and protect the rights of children in Kosovo.

 

 The Advocacy Officer, based in Prishtina, will be responsible

  • To develop, lead and implement comprehensive advocacy strategies on child protection related issues;
  • Lead and oversee research activities and the redaction of different documents and publications;
  • Manage and coordinate Terre des hommes’ specific related projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • Master degree preferably in law or social sciences;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in coordinating projects in the field of child protection and/or human rights, including in managerial positions;
  • Track record of successful advocacy work;
  • Very good knowledge of Kosovar legal framework and institutions;
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical and communication skills;
  • Experiences in research;
  • Abilities to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Fluency in written and verbal English & Albanian (Serbian would be an asset).

WORKING CONDITIONS: Full time work, contract based on the current legislation on the work in Kosovo.
